Children’s Home Society continues to serve the area – WV News

In the midst of a global pandemic, the needs of foster-care children continue to be a priority.

The Children’s Home Society of West Virginia provides care 24-7 to multiple shelters across the state. However, according to the regional director of CHSWV, there is a great need right now for both foster parents and protective gear and cleaning supplies for staff and children.

CHSWV currently serves children and families statewide, with 13 primary locations and 9 emergency child shelters across the state.

The Children’s Home Society of West Virginia recently expanded its Morgantown department and opened a new office in Buckhannon. The Buckhannon office will now serve Upshur, Lewis, Randolph,
